In accordance with the criteria set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Development of January 29, 2016 on the types and quantities of hazardous substances in the plant, which determine the classification of the plant as a lower-tier or upper-tier establishment (a plant with an increased or high risk of a serious industrial accident), Guotai-Huarong (Poland) was included in the upper-tier group of plants. Pursuant to the provisions of the Act of April 27, 2001, Environmental Protection Law, Journal of Laws 2001 No. 2016 item 672 with subsequent changes – Upper-tier establishments are required to prepare and submit the following documents to the relevant state authorities:
– Plant register
– Major accidents prevention program
– Safety report
– An internal emergency plan
The above documents shall be updated on a regular basis.
In addition, upper-tier establishments are required to disclose to the public the data required by Art. 261 and 261a of the above law.
