This time we celebrated it on January 22. This is the most important date in the calendar of the Middle Kingdom, so we decided to celebrate it with our employees.&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each year in the Chinese calendar is assigned to a different zodiac sign. They are, in order, Rat (shu), Ox (niu), Tiger (hu), Rabbit (tu), Dragon (long), Snake (she), Horse (ma), Sheep (yang), Monkey (hou), Rooster (ji), Dog (gou) and Pig (zhu). On January 22, we entered the Year of the Rabbit (tu nian).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter has-custom-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gthr.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/4-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-992\" style=\"border-radius:11px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In China, this celebration is celebrated very lavishly. On New Year's Eve, families sit down to dinner together, eating dishes typical of the day - such as the famous jiaozi dumplings, sticky rice cake and fish. According to tradition, relatives are presented with red envelopes, meant to symbolize luck and wealth. Everyone spends the evening at home - something that strongly distinguishes the model of celebration we know from Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter has-custom-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gthr.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-994\" style=\"border-radius:11px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As you may have guessed, New Year customs were shared among GTHR employees. In addition to a presentation about them and distinctive snacks, everyone had the opportunity to try calligraphy, cut-outs, read about their zodiac sign, look at a game of Chinese chess, checkers or mahjong. W wigili\u0119 Nowego Roku rodziny zasiadaj\u0105 przy wsp\u00f3lnej kolacji, jedz\u0105c typowe dla tego dnia dania \u2013 jak np. s\u0142ynne piero\u017cki jiaozi, ciasto z kleistego ry\u017cu czy ryby. Zgodnie z tradycj\u0105 bliskim wr\u0119cza si\u0119 czerwone koperty, maj\u0105ce symbolizowa\u0107 szcz\u0119\u015bcie i bogactwo. Ka\u017cdy sp\u0119dza ten wiecz\u00f3r w domu \u2013 to co\u015b, co mocno odr\u00f3\u017cnia model \u015bwi\u0119towania znany nam z Europy.
