At GTHR, we celebrated it with great care, and everyone was able to get involved in their own way. It was on this occasion that we gathered with all employees.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There was also a traditional Chinese touch! It is customary in the Middle Kingdom to eat... apples at Christmas. This is all due to the homophone, a similar-sounding word. In Chinese, an apple is <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ping guo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, on the other hand, silent night is <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ping an ye<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. To celebrate this custom, we all enjoyed them in December!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter has-custom-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gthr.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/MATEUSZBILSKI_GTHR_WIGILIA_-19-of-64.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-980\" style=\"border-radius:11px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter has-custom-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gthr.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/MATEUSZBILSKI_GTHR_WIGILIA_-22-of-64.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-982\" style=\"border-radius:11px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This time was exceptionally conducive to meetings. We decided to use it also to invite our employees to a training course on intercultural communication. It was attended by 15 people from various departments who work with Chinese speakers on a daily basis.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I'm glad that our employees were so eager to engage in joint celebrations. It's important for us to combine traditions and celebrate important days with respect for diversity. Po chi\u0144sku jab\u0142ko to ping guo, z kolei cicha noc to ping an ye. Aby uczci\u0107 ten obyczaj, w grudniu wszyscy si\u0119 nimi zajadali\u015bmy! Ten czas wyj\u0105tkowo sprzyja\u0142 spotkaniom. Postanowili\u015bmy go wykorzysta\u0107 tak\u017ce po to, by zaprosi\u0107 naszych pracownik\u00f3w na szkolenie z komunikacji mi\u0119dzykulturowej.
