Our country has already achieved much in the field of transformation to a low-carbon economy, introducing modern technological solutions in the coal power industry, as well as increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the country's energy mix. This would not have been possible without adequate support from EU programs focused on research and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>However, another challenge lies ahead. It should be borne in mind that one-fifth of CO2 emissions in Europe come from transportation, which is the main source of pollution in our cities, hence the need to promote electric-powered transportation in the European Union and in Poland. Both the European Union and Poland are betting on the development and popularization of the electric car sector and the necessary infrastructure (charging stations, energy storage technologies).<\/p>\n<p>The electromobility development plan prepared by the Ministry of Energy assumes that by 2025 there will be one million electrically powered cars on Polish roads. However, the program itself to stimulate electromobility development must not focus only on the production of electric cars and buses. What is important here is research and development that will allow Polish companies to compete in international markets. Electromobility, the development of low-emission and sustainable transport, is an important item of the Horizon 2020 program currently being implemented - the largest EU program in the field of innovation and development. The European Union is working on the next Framework Program - Horizon Europe 2021-2027, which is expected to allocate \u20ac100 billion for research and development.<\/p>\n<p>When talking about the development of electromobility in Europe, it is impossible not to draw on the experience of other European and non-European countries. The world leader in the production of hybrid and battery-electric cars is China, which is successfully entering European markets. The memorandum on Polish-Chinese cooperation in the field of electromobility, signed in 2017, can be the first step in creating a platform for cooperation between companies and research institutions and cooperative research and technological development.<\/p>\n<p>Taking into account the new perspective of the distribution of EU funds for research and development, I would like to ask you whether your institution is involved in the development of electromobility (research, development, production, assembly) and whether the undertaken or planned cooperation with countries outside the EU (China, South Korea, Japan).<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Jerzy Buzek<br \/>\nChairman of the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy.\u201d<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prezentujemy Pa\u0144stwu list prof. Nie by\u0142oby to mo\u017cliwe bez odpowiedniego wsparcia z program\u00f3w unijnych, ukierunkowanych na badanie i innowacje. Przed nami jednak kolejne wyzwanie. Nale\u017cy mie\u0107 na uwadze, \u017ce jedna pi\u0105ta emisji CO2 w Europie pochodzi z transportu, kt\u00f3ry jest g\u0142\u00f3wnym \u017ar\u00f3d\u0142em zanieczyszcze\u0144 w naszych miastach, st\u0105d konieczno\u015b\u0107 promowania w Unii Europejskiej oraz w Polsce transportu zasilanego energi\u0105 elektryczn\u0105. Zar\u00f3wno Unia Europejska, jak i Polska stawiaj\u0105 na rozw\u00f3j i popularyzacj\u0119 sektora samochod\u00f3w elektrycznych oraz niezb\u0119dnej do tego infrastruktury (stacje \u0142adowania, technologie magazynowania energii). Opracowany przez Ministerstwo Energii plan rozwoju elektromobilno\u015bci zak\u0142ada, \u017ce do roku 2025 na polskich drogach b\u0119dzie je\u017adzi\u0142o milion aut z nap\u0119dem elektrycznym. Sam program stymuluj\u0105cy rozw\u00f3j elektromobilno\u015bci nie mo\u017ce jednak skupia\u0107 si\u0119 tylko na produkcji elektrycznych samochod\u00f3w i autobus\u00f3w. Istotne s\u0105 tutaj badania i rozw\u00f3j, kt\u00f3re pozwol\u0105 polskim firmom konkurowa\u0107 na rynkach mi\u0119dzynarodowych. Elektromobilno\u015b\u0107, rozw\u00f3j niskoemisyjnego i zr\u00f3wnowa\u017conego transportu stanowi wa\u017cn\u0105 pozycj\u0119 wdra\u017canego obecnie programu Horyzont 2020 &#8211; najwi\u0119kszego unijnego programu w dziedzinie innowacji i rozwoju. Unia Europejska pracuje nad kolejnym Programem Ramowym &#8211; Horyzont Europa 2021-2027, w ramach kt\u00f3rego na badania i rozw\u00f3j ma by\u0107 przeznaczone 100 mld euro. M\u00f3wi\u0105c o rozwoju elektromobilno\u015bci w Europie, nie spos\u00f3b nie czerpa\u0107 z do\u015bwiadcze\u0144 innych kraj\u00f3w europejskich i pozaeuropejskich. \u015awiatowym liderem w produkcji samochod\u00f3w hybrydowych i zasilanych akumulatorami elektrycznymi s\u0105 Chiny, kt\u00f3re z powodzeniem wchodz\u0105 rynki europejskie. Podpisane w 2017 roku memorandum o wsp\u00f3\u0142pracy polsko-chi\u0144skiej w dziedzinie elektromobilno\u015bci mo\u017ce stanowi\u0107 pierwszy krok do tworzenia platformy wsp\u00f3\u0142pracy pomi\u0119dzy firmami i instytucjami badawczymi oraz kooperacji w zakresie bada\u0144 i rozwoju technologicznego. Bior\u0105c pod uwag\u0119 now\u0105 perspektyw\u0119 rozdzia\u0142u \u015brodk\u00f3w unijnych na badania i rozw\u00f3j, zwracam si\u0119 do Pa\u0144stwa z zapytaniem, czy Pa\u0144stwa instytucja zaanga\u017cowana jest w rozw\u00f3j elektromobilno\u015bci (badania, rozw\u00f3j, produkcja, monta\u017c) oraz czy podejmowana, b\u0105d\u017a planowana wsp\u00f3\u0142praca z pa\u0144stwami spoza UE (Chiny, Korea Po\u0142udniowa, Japonia).
