INTERNSHIPS AT GTHR POLAND – SUPPORTING YOUNG TALENTS - GTHR

17.01.2024

At GTHR we constantly aim to support development of young talents through our innovative internship program, which presents the students with the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience. During this and past year, we accepted interns to join three of our departments: Quality Control, Polish-Chinese Relations and Translation, as well as HR & Administration.|

During their internship at Quality Control Department, the students undergo theoretical knowledge instruction together with practical training, through which they have a chance to familiarize themselves with the newest analytical methods. By learning how to use an advanced gas chromatograph, our interns acquire skills necessary for carrying out precise tests, and the experience
gained will surely prove invaluable in their future careers, should they choose to join the automotive industry. Only a few companies in Poland are a part this industry, so the interns have taken advantage of the opportunity to gain professional experience.

Our offer is just as exciting for students interested in partaking in an internship with Polish-Chinese Relations and Translation department. Since April 2023, we have invited 8 students from University of Wrocław. Our interpreters are very experienced and share their knowledge with all who come to take part in the internship, which in turn helps them acquire new skills, all in a friendly atmosphere.

During their internship, the students get a chance to utilize Trados – professional translation software, the skillful usage of which is an invaluable skill on the job market, serving as a natural development stage to all translators aiming to complete specialist work. Daily exposure to the Chinese language combined with translation tasks from different fields of expertise, e.g. chemistry, technology, accounting, and quality, contribute to a rich program for the students.

As for the HR & Administration internship, the students had a chance to gain hands-on experience in documentation management in an international company. Their tasks consisted of organizing files, composing lists of contracts, preparing statements, and maintaining documents belonging to foreign employees. Not only did the completion of these tasks help them develop their organizational skills, but it also introduced them to key areas of effective human resource management and helped them develop administrative skills. The internship provided a unique opportunity to learn and grow in an inspiring international business environment.

Bridging the Polish and Chinese business markets, our company offers opportunities to students to obtain hands-on experience, as well as a chance to expose themselves to working in an international environment. Thanks to the internship, the students make their first steps toward becoming not just specialists in their areas, but also citizens of the world, ready to tackle challenges posed by today’s job market.
