We are happy to share with you our experience from the tree planting event we co-organized in Żmigród for Earth Day. This is an event that each year demonstrates our commitment to building a green future and taking care of our local ecosystem.

This year, thanks to cooperation with the Żmigród Forestry Commission and the Society of Lovers of Żmigród Land, we organized a tree planting campaign that brought together our employees and members of the local community. Each of us could personally contribute to the planting of numerous young trees. This was not only an opportunity to take an active part in protecting the environment, but also a moment that enabled us to build ties with local residents and local organizations.

As GTHR Poland, we would like to express our special gratitude to everyone who participated in this edition of “Żmigrodove Planet Love,” especially to our employees. Your support, despite the rainy weather, showed an indomitable spirit and commitment to our common goals. Every tree you planted has a huge impact on our environment and contributes to protecting the planet.

Special thanks also go to the Żmigród Forestry Commission for invaluable knowledge on proper tree planting, as well as to the Żmigród Land Lovers Society for professional preparation of the action.

We look forward to more opportunities to work together for the Earth and invite everyone to participate in future projects. Together we can create a green future!

PWR Racing Team is a team made up of students from the Wroclaw University of Technology. They are a true showcase of Polish talent and determination in the world of motorsports. Their passion for motor racing is unparalleled, and now we have the pleasure of joining them on their extraordinary journey in Formula Student.

Since 2009, PWR Racing Team has consistently designed and built Formula Student class cars, competing on internationally renowned tracks. Their unique approach to engineering has earned them first place in the electric classification, a testament to their extraordinary talent and commitment to the development of electric-powered vehicles.

But this is not the end of the impressive achievements of this team. We are proud to announce that the PWR Racing Team has already constructed as many as 14 cars in its history! This is an absolutely amazing achievement that confirms their constant pursuit of excellence and innovation.

What's more, their commitment to the environment is truly inspiring. In 2021, they began developing electric-powered cars, additionally equipped with autonomous driving systems. This is not only a step forward in technology, but also an expression of their concern for the planet. And it's these shared values that brought us together.

As part of our cooperation, we will provide PWR Racing Team with financial support to help them continue their mission and achieve even greater success. We are extremely honored by the prospect of working with such a talented team, which is not only successful on the tracks, but also educates young engineers and managers, opening the door to a career in the automotive industry.

Chiński Nowy Rok to najważniejsze święto w kalendarzu chińskim, przypadające zmiennie pomiędzy 21 stycznia a 20 lutego. Tym razem wypadło 10 lutego i  rozpoczęło tym samym Rok Drewnianego Smoka. W naszej firmie na co dzień łączymy różnorodność kulturową, przywiązując wagę do świąt zarówno polskich, jak i chińskich. W ubiegłym tygodniu wspólnie z pracownikami postanowiliśmy świętować ten wyjątkowy dzień. 

Podczas wydarzenia pracowników GTHR Poland przywitały dekoracje nawiązujące do chińskiej kultury, tj.czerwone lampiony czy wachlarze. Wśród atrakcji znalazły się m.in. warsztaty z kaligrafii chińskiej, które były nauką dokładności i cierpliwości. Z kolei warsztaty wycinania misternych wzorów z papieru pozwoliły odkryć piękno chińskiej sztuki zdobniczej, pozwalając każdemu z uczestników stworzyć własną, unikatową pamiątkę.

Dla miłośników gier planszowych przygotowaliśmy strefę, gdzie można było poznać tajniki gry weiqi. Dla zainteresowanych, ta gra ma ponad 2500 lat historii. Pojedynek strategii i logicznego myślenia stał się prawdziwym wyzwaniem i dostarczył wielu emocji.

Inną z atrakcji wydarzenia była możliwość przejścia się po Wielkim Murze w wirtualnej rzeczywistości. Technologia pozwoliła pracownikom przenieść się do Chin i doświadczyć majestatu tego historycznego cudu. Podczas wydarzenia nie mogło zabraknąć również quizu wiedzy o Chinach, w którym pracownicy mogli sprawdzić swoją znajomość historii, kultury i tradycji tego fascynującego kraju.

Chiński Nowy Rok w GTHR Poland to nie tylko czas zabawy i poznawania chińskiej kultury, ale także doskonała okazja do budowania relacji i integracji w zespole. Wspólne tworzenie dekoracji, gra w weiqi czy quiz wiedzy o Chinach sprzyjały
zacieśnianiu więzi oraz tworzeniu atmosfery życzliwości i wzajemnego szacunku. Dziękujemy wszystkim pracownikom GTHR Poland za udział w tym wyjątkowym wydarzeniu. Wasza energia, zaangażowanie i radość sprawiły, że tegoroczne obchody Chińskiego Nowego Roku na długo pozostaną w naszej pamięci.

At GTHR Poland, we are passionate about sports and strive to be actively involved in supporting the local community. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that we have extended our sponsorship agreement with the Orzeł Prusice football club for another 18 months.

Orzeł Prusice is a team with tradition and passion, which has represented our region in league and cup competitions for years. We believe in their potential and want to help them achieve better and better results. We hope that our support will contribute to the development of local talent and the promotion of a healthy, active lifestyle.

Eagle Prusice's cooperation with us has resulted in a number of initiatives that have allowed the team to spread its wings and rise to a higher level. These included a sports camp in Muszyna or participation in the Soccer Winter League, which allowed the team to test itself against challenging opponents.

The Prusice Eagle Academy is not slowing down. Between August and October 2023, it organized a number of additional activities, such as a trip to Mount Sleza, a paintball game and a trip to an extra-class match of Śląsk Wrocław. These events not only integrate the team, but also shape character and teach cooperation.

Moreover, the successes of Eagle Prusice last year did not go unnoticed. The Youth team and player Wojtek Niemczura were nominated for the Gazeta Wrocławska Sports Poll. We are proud of our “Eagle” and offer him huge congratulations.

The club is not slowing down and is already working on more projects. The plans include a series of indoor tournaments, the Orzeł Cup, a sports camp in Slubice, and the introduction of additional individual training at the academy. These initiatives are aimed at further developing the teams and players, as well as expanding the training offer.

We keep our fingers crossed for Eagle Prusice and wish them continued success!

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is a unique initiative that unites people for the noble cause of helping those in need. This year, like last year, we proudly joined the ranks of companies supporting WOŚP. We donated 4 vouchers for a Tesla ride for auction.

Special congratulations are due to the WOŚP headquarters in Prusice, which this year collected a record amount of 53,327.58 PLN! The funds collected will be used to purchase equipment for the diagnosis, monitoring and rehabilitation of lung diseases for patients in pulmonology wards for children and adults. We are pleased to have been able to contribute to this success.

We donated vouchers for a Tesla ride to be auctioned off by the headquarters of WOŚP Prusice. We wanted not only to support a noble cause, but also to draw attention to the importance of modern technology and promote the idea of ecological mobility. We believe that electromobility is the key to a cleaner and friendlier environment for future generations. Electric mobility, as represented by the Tesla brand, not only provides an amazing driving experience, but also supports our vision of a cleaner and friendlier environment. Through this initiative, we hope to inspire others to think about the impact we have on the planet and to seek sustainable transportation solutions. We believe that electromobility is the key to creating a better future.

At GTHR, we constantly strive to support the development of young talent through our innovative internship program, which offers students a unique opportunity to gain practical experience. In 2023/2024, we have accepted students for internships in three departments: quality control - laboratory, translation and Polish-Chinese relations, and HR and administration.

In our quality control department, students receive not only theoretical training, but also practical classes that allow them to learn the latest analytical methods. Using, among other things, advanced gas chromatographs, our trainees gain the skills necessary for precise testing, which is invaluable experience in the chemical world of the automotive industry. There are few such companies in Poland, which gives students a unique opportunity to learn about this type of work from the inside.

In the area of translation and Polish-Chinese relations, our practices are equally fascinating. As of April 2023, we have already worked with eight students from the University of Wroclaw. Our team has a wealth of experience and is happy to share their knowledge, enabling students to expand their skills in the area of translation in a friendly atmosphere.

During the internship, students work with Trados professional translation software, gaining practical skills that are not only valuable in the job market, but also allow them to excel in the field of specialized translation. Daily contact with the Chinese language, as well as translation and interpretation in various fields such as chemistry, technology, accounting and quality, make the internship extremely versatile.

In the HR and administration department, students had the opportunity to gain practical experience in the area of records management in a multinational company. Their tasks included organizing files, creating lists of contracts, preparing statements and taking care of foreigners' documents. This not only developed their organizational skills, but also introduced them to areas crucial to effective human resources and administrative management. The internship provided a unique opportunity to learn and grow in an inspiring international business environment.

Our company, which is a bridge between the Polish and Chinese business markets, offers students not only practical experience, but also a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of cross-cultural cooperation. Through internships at GTHR, students become not only specialists in their fields, but also global citizens ready for the challenges of today's job market.

The year 2023 brought Poland's significant progress in electromobility, laying a strong foundation for the development of sustainable transportation.

Electric buses in the capital

Poland's capital, Warsaw, is setting the standard for other cities in the use of electric vehicles in public transportation. With 162 electric buses circulating on Warsaw's streets, the city is firmly moving toward green solutions in public transportation.

Growth of electric bus fleet at national level

According to the Polish Alternative Fuels Association, there are currently 865 electric buses on the road in Poland, a significant step toward sustainable transportation. A great initiative is the European Commission's proposal that all new buses be zero-emission from 2030. This is a step toward reducing carbon emissions by 40% by 2040. Poland, being one of the leading exporters of electric buses, has the opportunity to lead in this revolution.

Electric cities outside of Warsaw

Other Polish cities, such as Kraków, Poznań, Zielona Góra, and Jaworzno, are also accelerating the transition to green transportation - we see an increase in the number of electric buses everywhere. Wroclaw, with its K line served exclusively by zero-emission vehicles, is becoming another example of a city that is actively contributing to reducing CO2 emissions.

Local government investments for electromobility

Local governments, both in large metropolitan areas and in smaller cities, are committed to investing in electric rolling stock. Examples of such
cities like Lidzbark Warmiński, Bielsk Podlaski and Kętrzyn, which combine investment in electric buses with free transportation
public for residents, provide an inspiring model for other regions.

Global events

The past year, both in Europe and the United States, has seen a significant increase in investment activity in the electric truck charging sector. Key players such as Daimler Truck, Volvo have put significant resources into infrastructure development, underscoring their commitment to promoting clean transportation.

Conclusions and future prospects

The year 2023 was undoubtedly a period of rapid development in electromobility. The initiatives taken by local governments, the development of charging infrastructure, and the growth of the electric bus fleet are steps toward a clean and sustainable tomorrow. Poland has a chance
to lead the way in Europe's electromobility revolution.

Christmas is behind us, but we would like to share with you the special moments that have graced this period in our company. The past weeks, full of warmth, mutual kindness and assistance, have made us look forward to the coming months with joy.

One of the highlights was our Christmas Eve party, during which we united in wishing each other well. This was certainly the moment when our company became a strong, united team. 

Moreover, in the spirit of noble traditions, GTHR Poland decided to give something of itself to others. Accordingly, we organized a collection of items for the House for Children in Oborniki Śląskie, during which we collected the most necessary food and chemical products, as well as candy. What's more, we are proud to announce that we funded a voucher worth PLN 1,000 for furniture for the Home for Children. This is our humble attempt to bring a little comfort and joy into the lives of those who need it most. The Board of Directors was also involved in the campaign, and decided to support the children by donating beautiful tableware.

Our assistance in December, of course, also extended to the municipality of Prusice, which we supported during the organization of the municipality's Santa Claus. Thanks to our financial assistance, the municipality was able to purchase unforgettable gifts, making the magical time of Santa Claus even more special.

All this was possible thanks to the commitment of our employees, who with their openness and kindness proved that together we can change the world for the better. Thank you for your commitment, heart and willingness to help.

For us, protecting the environment is not only a commitment to standards and regulations, but also an expression of our deep conviction to care for the planet. By implementing ISO 14001 standards, we are actively committed to reducing our environmental impact, monitoring our consumption of natural resources, and systematically improving our processes to minimize negative effects on nature.

Our commitment to excellence continues unabated. The next step on our road to quality improvement is our approach to auditing compliance with the IATF 16949 standard. This is a standard for the automotive industry that will help us meet the expectations of our customers in this sector even better.

The support of the local community has always been important to us. In October we have provided the care and education center with funds that have made it children get new jackets.

Children's Home No. 1 in Oborniki Slaskie is a unique place where 14 children aged 6 to 18 live on a daily basis. Caregivers strive every day to provide their charges with decent living conditions and homely warmth. We decided to help them in this
We know that winter is coming inexorably fast, so we have donated funds to buy winter clothing.

- It is a great joy and satisfaction for us to be involved again in supporting the local community, especially its youngest part. We want every child to feel taken care of,” says Head of Translation and Polish-Chinese Relations Aleksandra Kołaczek.

Previously, we have already “contributed our share” to the organization of, among others, the Prusice Municipality Harvest Festival in Kroscinia Wielka, the Santa Claus Festival on the Prusice market square or the Third Tower Run also in Prusice. Since 2022 we have also supported the local football team MKS “Orzeł” Prusice.
