About us

Guotai-Huarong (Poland) is a joint venture between two world leaders in the market of new materials for electromobility: Zhangjiagang Guotai-Huarong New Chemical Materials Co., Ltd., operating for over 20 years, and Jiangsu Ruitai New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. Our mission is to create innovative solutions for a sustainable future. We do this by producing electrolyte based on the latest solutions and technologies developed in our laboratories. In 2022, we started pilot production at our plant in Prusice (Lower Silesian Voivodeship). We are now ready to supply the electrolyte for the production of half a million electric cars a year. We attach great importance to environmental protection and well-being of our employees. That is why we operate in accordance with the highest standards. So far, we have obtained certificates related to quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018). In addition, we are committed to being a good neighbor. We support local communities through activities in the field of ecology, sports, education and safety.

How many people work at the GTHR production facility in Prusice?

At the moment, around 120 people work at our production facility.

Is the company currently recruiting?

You can keep up to date with all job vacancies at the GTHR production facility on our website under the Careers tab and on our social media - Facebook and LinkedIn.

When did the plant start production?

The plant began pilot production in 2022.

What exactly is produced at the plant?

At our facility, we produce the electrolyte used in lithium-ion batteries that power not only electric cars, but also other devices.

What impact does the GTHR plant have on the health of local residents?

The operations of the Prusice production facility strictly comply with European and national legislation. As required, we are prepared for any undesirable situations. Our internal procedures precisely define safety measures and how to deal with possible emergencies. All necessary materials and reports relating to the safe operation of the plant have been consulted and submitted to the relevant authorities, with whom we are in constant contact.

What are the benefits for the municipality and the region through the construction of the production facility?

As GTHR, we systematically work to benefit the immediate environment. We improve the quality of life of the local community while taking care of environmental sustainability. This is how we understand the role of a good neighbour. In 2022, we have become involved, among other things, in the organisation of the Prusice Three Towers Run (Bieg Trzech Wież), the Gmina’s Harvest Festival (Dożynki Gminne) or activities undertaken by students of Prusice schools during the Clean Up the World (Sprzątanie Świata) event. We support young football players from Orzeł Prusice.

Does GTHR have any other plants in the world?

Yes, GTHR has three plants in China: the head office is located in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, where we produce electrolyte and silane binders. A second electrolyte plant operates in the Chinese city of Ningde, Fujian province. We are also currently in the process of building a third plant in Zigong, Sichuan province. The electrolyte produced in our plant is going to provide companies based in Europe and around the world with means to obtain resources used in production of lithium-ion battery inserts currently found in electric cars. Basing the plant in the region of Lower Silesia expands the European and regional electric cars network.
